Jessica Kao, L.Ac, DAOM

Jessica Kao, DAOM (Doctor of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine), specializes in treating digestive diseases, allergies, internal medicine, anxiety, depression, and pain management.

Jessica Kao, DAOM (Doctor of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine), graduated from the doctoral program at Five Branches University in California. Driven by her passion for Chinese culture, she continued her studies of meridian and traditional Chinese medicine after immigrating to the United States, learning the basics in Taiwan. In September 2003, she entered the master's program of traditional Chinese medicine, and in October 2006, she became a licensed acupuncturist.
Since 2006, Dr. Kao has volunteered for the Northern California Association of Chinese Medicine Physicians, providing her expertise and serving the community until 2023. She has also taught in the doctoral program at Five Branches University and worked at Kaiser Hospital.


Dr. Kao specializes in treating digestive diseases, allergies, internal medicine, and pain. She combines various acupuncture techniques, such as scalp and body acupuncture, moxibustion, and traditional Chinese medicine, to diagnose and treat patients effectively. Outside of her practice, Dr. Kao enjoys traveling, photography, and cooking.
