Six Months Before the Reunion, She Started Her Weekly "Self-Care Date"

Early last summer, she told us she wanted to look her best at the upcoming class reunion — she hadn't seen her old classmates in years.

She was a disciplined person. Living on the Peninsula, juggling work and family, she'd kept herself in great shape — eating well, staying active, never cutting corners. But years of accumulated stress had written themselves on her body: shoulders hard as stone, a tired complexion, and a reflection in the mirror that looked more worn out than her actual age.

What bothered her even more was that she was going through menopause, and her hair was thinning. Every time she washed her hair, seeing the strands in the drain made her heart sink.

In her first week, we set up twice-weekly visits. We started with Acu-Facial, and within two to three weeks, she noticed her skin glowed even without makeup. Then we added myofascial therapy — after the first session, her whole body unwound, and she said in surprise, "I didn't know my body could feel this soft." She'd always loved exercise, but never realized how tight fascia had been locking her posture in place. Once it released, she naturally stood taller; her jawline and neck looked more defined, and the facial acupuncture results seemed to double.

Beyond the face and fascia, we also cared for her internal and gynecological health throughout. As her qi and blood flow improved, she slept better and her energy returned — she started glowing from the inside out. A few months in, she happily noticed less hair shedding; her hair gradually grew fuller, and even her hairstylist asked if she'd switched shampoos.

After three months, we moved to once a week. She said it became the most relaxing moment of her week — as natural as brushing her teeth, just part of life. Over the full six months, she barely missed a session.

On the day of the reunion, she texted us: her old classmates kept asking what she'd done. She just smiled and said, "I started taking good care of myself."

Then her husband came in too. Watching his wife transform, he decided he wanted regular care as well. Now the couple each comes once a week — our regulars.

"Beautiful women are diligent." She laughed when she heard that, but she's the living proof — there's no shortcut to radiance, only the willingness to set aside time for yourself, week after week.
